Recruitment - Our Approach and Track Record
FWB has always recommended a formal, rigorous and transparent procedure for the appointment of new Board directors, both executive and non-executive which is consistent with the revised Combined Code.
As a first step, we hold discussions with the client to establish a firm understanding of the experience and skills required of potential candidates. We then submit a formal, written proposal for managing the appointment, covering all aspects of the assignment from sourcing and attracting potential candidates, to a detailed description of the selection process, along with projected costs and time scale.
Subsequently, we advise on the specific methodologies for identifying potential candidates, and manage the process discreetly through the approach and interview stages to the final appointment.
Our approach is to operate in partnership with our clients, working with individual executives, the nomination committee or the entire board to provide mentoring and support until a successful conclusion to the recruitment process has been reached.
We can also provide advice and guidance on the induction process for new non-executive directors.
